Our Doha contractors invited us to submit our quotation for the upgrading of current lighting in this luxury shopping mall in the capital city of Qatar. Current energy consumption for lighting was very high, and many old fluorescent lights were in need of repair or replacement. Maintenance costs were becoming extortionate. Because LEDs do not produce heat, they were specified in order to increase effectiveness of the air-conditioning.
Since last year, the government of Qatar has banned the import and sale of energy-hungry incandescent bulbs.
- To design, manufacture and supply high-quality, fire-proof LED lighting to several areas in the mall to enhance the shopping experience of customers and to reduce the need for further air-conditioning units.
- To decrease the costs involved in lighting maintenance.
What we did:
We submitted our designs and quotation to the contractors and calculated the combined savings that would be achieved in reducing energy consumption, maintenance and air-conditioning costs.
After approval, we manufactured the required LED lighting and completed installation.
